Our therapists' time is valuable, and some commute long distances to meet clients at Cromwell Massage & Wellness. With the additional consideration that any reserved time is unavailable to other clients who may be in need of assistance, it is our policy that clients give 24 hour notice in the event that cancellation is necessary
Cancellations within the 24 hour accompanied by a phone call should be paid by the client at a rate of 50%. If a client does not call or show up for an appointment, the massage should be paid in full. Clients must pay for missed sessions with gift certificates, all accepted session payment methods, membership sessions, or any purchased session packages.
Please arrive on time for your appointment, if not a few minutes early. We end appointments on time, so that we may be on time for subsequent appointments. We reserve the right to shorten table time in the case of a late start due to late arrival time.
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to wait in our reception area during their parents massage. There can be no guarantee of an adult present to provide supervision, and it is a liability we are not prepared to accept.
Sexual misconduct is grounds for immediate termination of service with payment in full, and notification of authorities when warranted. Sexual misconduct includes illicit or sexually suggestive remarks, advances, or gestures.
The charge by CMW to a client who pays using a check with insufficient funds is $30. This covers the bank charge we will incur as well as administrative costs. Should a client provide a check for payment that "bounces" on more than one occasion, CMW must accept cash only for future services.
If a client presents a symptom(s) that make massage unsafe to the client or therapist, the appointment will be rescheduled at the therapists' discretion. Such symptoms may include rash, fever, or potentially contagious infection. There will be no charge for this last-minute cancellation. Doctor's note, when requested, are required for service. The conditions are not meant as an inconvenience, but rather, to protect the health of the client.
All client information is kept strictly confidential, and will not be shared with anyone without prior consent from the client.
Massage is a therapeutic tool to facilitate well-being and mindfulness and is not a substitute for medical treatment. In our capacity as state certified Licensed Massage Therapist, it is out of our scope to diagnose symptoms or prescribe treatments. Information conveyed by any of our therapist should not be construed as diagnosis or prescription, nor as a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
If a client is on time and receives a full service, and is in anyway unsatisfied with the service they received, we ask that they speak with management right away to be made whole. We strive to leave every customer satisfied.
